Our Place provides a place for those with special needs or physical disabilities to come and spend time together with others in a safe, loving environment. It is a great opportunity for family members and/or carers to socialise and share time together in the Worship Centre with activities including music, craft and films.
Purpose:
to show the love of God to those who live with special needs and/or disabilities which sometimes makes it difficult for them to find a place of acceptance and appropriate social activities.
Who is it for:
all ages that live with special needs and/or disabilities.
What do we do:
we provide Family Days and Film Afternoons at The Well. We support the families/carers in their own environments where appropriate. We invite our contacts to other Fountain events, e.g. Summer BBQ and carol services.
When and where do we meet:
approximately once a quarter at The Well. At other times and places as appropriate.
What are our hopes:
That all who come to Our Place will know the love of God through Jesus and His Holy Spirit .
